Custom tools

When the problem is operational, a brochure site is the wrong tool.

Custom work starts with a real bottleneck: a queue nobody can see, repeated hand entry, an awkward ordering flow, or a staff process that off-the-shelf software does not fit.

Workflow mapping

Document actors, decisions, statuses, handoffs, exceptions, and the current source of truth before choosing technology.

Purpose-built interfaces

Design only the views and actions needed for the defined workflow, instead of rebuilding a full business platform.

Production boundaries

Permissions, customer data, backups, vendor dependencies, support, and ownership are scoped before launch.

A deliberate custom-work gate

Thumb Webworks is in controlled soft launch. Exploratory conversations, problem discovery, demonstrations, and proposals are possible. Production commitments, deposits, and customer-data systems are not opened until the business formation, contract, banking, privacy, and support boundaries are ready.

Good early candidates

  • A narrowly defined staff queue or status board
  • A lightweight request or ordering flow with clear ownership
  • A dashboard that consolidates already-authorized data
  • A repeated workflow whose time cost can be observed

Vague “build an app” ideas are narrowed before any build commitment.

Exploratory inquiry

Have a real problem to untangle?

An exploratory email starts a conversation only. It does not authorize work, create a contract, or open a payment path.
